This is perhaps the tackiest và most gratuitously appointed khách sạn I"ve sầu ever mix foot in. It"s like Giani Versace threw up all over the place. (even the ceilings) . Less then a year old and the paint and plaster is chipping and peeling. The workmanship is terrible. The marble in my bathroom probably cost as much as feeding a Vietnamese family for ten years, but it was badly mix, with gobs of silicone everywhere. Just a waste of space, time & energy. Everything was vastly overpriced. Apparently a beer costs 10 dollars US down in the nightclub (the music from which I could hear on the 18th floor well inkhổng lồ the early hours of the morning). I didn"t venture down. Do yourself a favour & stay downtown at the Melia rather than exiling yourself in the desolate wastelvà.More

Taking safety measures
You would assume that a 5 star khách sạn would have sầu at minimum decent customer service, this khách sạn breaks the mold. When asked if staff could help me, a small female, bring my luggage up khổng lồ my room they refused. Further more, the hotel was cheaply finished, they put in all the things khổng lồ get them a stamp of 5 star but it is far from deserving. The elevator broke when I was in it, I pressed emergency button but no one came, it fell four floors to lớn an unfinished basement with no doors, when I told the staff they simply acknowledged it.It is not cchiến bại to anything, no restaurants, so you are forced khổng lồ pay the $30 per meal price.No one smiles at you or is friendly. Terrible. The entire Canadian Education fair was there, và each guest reported similar experiences. We will not be returning.

Well, my company and this khách sạn had a discount agreement so I could stay here not paying much. I didn"t like its lavish decoration but the room was spacious, breakfast was good, staff were very kind too. Overall it was convenient & comfortable experience, but I wouldn"t say "perfect" or "wonderful" for this khách sạn... there"s something missing in it. And if you are a tourist I recommend you to lớn stay near the old quarter.

I stayed at Gr& Plaza Hanoi for 4 nights và the khách sạn itself is just WOW. Imagine a high rise tower - inside French Lois 14 style crammed with the lachạy thử technology, beautiful rooms with stunning views over the thành phố and a bathroom to lớn die for equipped with the latest L"Occitane creams and scents. Actually I thought such grand style is tacky but because the khách sạn is so spacious, well run & well taken care of I actually loved it. The service and staff are great. Everytoàn thân speaks English and gets out of his way lớn make you comfortable. The breakfast is great. However, you should have sầu US dollars, they don"t exchange Indonesian Rupias for exmple.Only downside,- the khách sạn is far away from the đô thị centre & the traffic is mad...even compared to lớn Jakarta standards. The surrounding looks like a brvà new thành phố development in the making. A bit boring... However: If you are not in a rush, stay here and spoil yourself! Its definately unbeatable value for money!
